SANTA COULDN'T CARRY THIS MUCH

Petit theft: The Sheriff's Office was called because a man entered a clothing store and then proceeded to begin concealing items in his pants and shirt. He first selected some shoes, and then some men's underwear. He added two wallets and then some socks. He hid behind a rack as he stuffed the items down his pants. All his actions, though, where recorded on video. He was stopped outside by security and deputies. He lifted his shirt and started unloading his booty, which totaled $287.99. He was arrested.

SHOULD HAVE STOPPED AT 50
6200 State Road 64 East, Bradenton
Retail theft: A woman was observed by security going into a department store where she went to the home department and started selecting candles. She placed the candles in the department stores bags that she carried in her cart. But she continued selecting other items, 54 in all. She went to the rest room and hung out for a while before heading for the exit without paying. The stolen items had a value of $381.03. Sheriff's Office deputies arrested her.

NO BODY TO LOVE
Deer Point Crossing, Panther Ridge Trail, Bradenton
Found property: The Sheriff's Office was contacted with a report to a found body, wrapped in a blanket, in the parking area south of the intersection. Upon examination of the body, it was determined to be an anatomically correct doll. Deputies collected the doll to be placed into property and evidence for safe keeping.

CHARGED UP AND ANNOYED
6400 block of State Road 64 East, Bradenton
Trespass warning: The Sheriff's Office was contacted by a convenience store employee about two unwanted subjects on the property. A deputy responded to find a man and a woman hanging outside the establishment near the store's ice machines. The woman had unplugged the ice machine so she could charge her cell phone. The employee told deputies the two had been a regular pain for a while. The two were trespassed from the property in the presence of a deputy. They said they understood and would not return.
