Lakewood Ranch beat Palmetto 10-0 in 5 innings on Feb. 21. Morgan Cummins and Mackenzie Meyer both hit home runs for the Mustangs.

The Out-of-Door Academy lost 28-27 to Imagine North Port on Feb. 21. 

Baseball

Braden River lost 6-5 to St. Petersburg on Feb. 21.

Lacrosse

The Out-of-Door Academy boys team lost 17-11 to Riverview on Feb. 21, and the girls team fell 16-15 to the Rams on the same day.

Tennis

The Out-of-Door Academy girls team lost 4-3 to Venice on Feb. 21, and the boys team lost 5-2 to the Indians on the same day.

Golf

The pairs of Jean Maguire and Nancy Kornberger; Barbara Gold and Sherri Patchen; and Carolyn Wilson and Betty Goldman tied for first place at 13-under-par in Palm Aire Country Club's Women's Golf Association best ball event.
