Longboat Key resident celebrates 95 years

Patricia Balerna of Longboat Key celebrated her 95th birthday Dec. 18.

Celebrating with her were her husband of 67 years, John, her daughters Patricia and Paula, son-in-law Jim and grandson Brady.

The family attended Mass at St. Mary, Star of the Sea, where she got a birthday kiss from Monsignor Finnigan. 

Later, the family enjoyed dinner, cake and ice cream.
