Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch will host the 2017 Premier Sports Campus Invitational. The tournament will showcase boys and girls teams U9-U19. The tournament starts at 8 a.m. Friday.

FRIDAY, Jan. 6

The Out-of-Door Academy middle school girls basketball team plays Indian Rocks Christian School at 4 p.m. The Thunder won the first matchup between the two teams 35-30. Shelby Fulton and Abbey Perry are some of the key players for ODA.

SATURDAY, Jan. 7

The Lakewood Ranch boys basketball team will participate in the Battle at the Beach Shootout at Venice High School. The 12-team tournament starts at 9 a.m. and runs until approximately 3 p.m.

MONDAY, Jan. 9

The Braden River girls soccer team takes on Booker at 6 p.m. Junior Lexi Madrid and sophomore Ashley Tollner lead the attack for the Pirates. This is the third-to-last game before the district tournament, and Braden River will be looking to finish the regular season strong.
