Restaurant of Champions

Local eatery Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant and Pub was awarded one of TripAdvisor’s 2017 Certificate of Excellence awards. On June 23, the restaurant shared a message on its Facebook page announcing it earned the award based “consistently amazing reviews.” 

A Certificate of Excellence can be given to establishments including one-room B&Bs to 600-room hotels, hidden attractions and world-famous museums, and local cafés to popular restaurants, TripAdvisor’s website said. To qualify, a restaurant must maintain a TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and have been on TripAdvisor for 12 months, the website said.
