2 — Lakewood Ranch softball's Avery Goelz, who will be a sophomore next semester, was named to the MaxPreps Freshman All-American team on July 14.
3 — Lakewood Ranch baseball alumnus Seth McGarry recorded his 12th-consecutive save for the Bradenton Marauders on July 20 against Fort Myers. It was the most consecutive converted saves to start a season in team history.
4 — Greg Vincent sank a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club's King's Dunes course on July 14. Vincent used an 8-iron on the 130-yard hole.
5 — Braden River offensive lineman Brendan Bengtsson, who will be a senior next semester, received a scholarship offer from Warner University on July 16.
