More than 20 children swayed, jumped and twirled their way across the dance floor July 28 as Disney princesses and characters, not just as dancers.
Campers in Jump Dance Co.’s weeklong “Disney Diva” camp learned dance techniques and moves, acrobatics and enjoyed arts, crafts and other festivities before ending the week with dance recital for their parents.
“I’ve never been able to do a cartwheel before,” 10-year-old Gabby Sniffen said of her accomplishments for the week. “It’s pretty fun.”
