Kathy Peters had a challenge ahead of her while planning the St. Thomas More Catholic Church woman's club Head to Toe Fashion Show and Luncheon March 7 at Michaels On East.
She quickly recovered after the clothing vendor pulled out early in the planning process. Then three weeks before the big day the backup clothing vendor closed all its brick and mortar locations, leaving Peters without any fashions for the show.
But once again, she bounced back and secured Patchington to provide clothing for the models and the event went on without a hitch.
In addition to the fashion show members enjoyed a silent auction and 100 raffle prizes. All the proceeds benefited local charities including All Faiths Food Bank and Resurrection House.
Despite the minor hiccups, Peters said she would do it all again.
"This is the first time I have organized it," Peters said. "But I would do it again, because I just enjoyed everything."
