Tim Rogers, 25, plays baseball in the Miracle League of Manasota, which holds its games at Miracle League Field (6050 Longwood Run Blvd., Sarasota). The organization, its website says, is a place where people "will be empowered to enjoy the joys and thrills of baseball regardless of their ability to play." On March 14, Rogers threw out the first pitch before Cardinal Mooney's baseball game against Bradenton Christian.
