Bird Key home sells for $6 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Jerald Kamiel, of Alpine, N.J., sold his home at 552 S. Spoonbill Drive to Kenneth Katz, of Sarasota, for $6 million. Built in 2005, it has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 7,549 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4.75 million in 2009.

The Beach Residences

Henry and Dawn Duques, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 303 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Charles and Faine Smith, of Avon by the Sea, N.J., for $1.23 million. Built in 2005, it has one bedroom, two baths and 1,855 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.14 million in 2016.

Grand Bay

Amy Kulb, trustee, of Garden City, N.Y., sold the Unit 143 condominium at 3060 Grand Bay to Frank Krumm and Karen Henderson, of Dublin, Ohio, for $920,000. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,369 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $654,300 in 2000.

Emerald Pointe South

Miriam Brown, of Warren, N.J., sold her Unit 2 condominium at 1903 Harbour Links Circle to Horatio and Adriana Hoggard, of Longboat Key, for $530,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,376 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $468,500 in 2001.

Longboat Harbour

Carolann Koplik, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 208 condominium at 4310 Falmouth Drive to Jean Silvernail, of Warminster, Pa., for $399,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,092 square feet of living area. 

Bay Harbour Apartments

Martha Siefman, trustee, of Troy, Mich., sold the Unit 302 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Kathleen Wingate, of Odessa, for $348,600. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2012.
