Lakewood Ranch's Dick Vitale may have fame, but at "Wine. Dine. Make a Difference," a 15-year-old cancer survivor, was the star of the show.

Cole Eicher, as well as 9-year-old Enzo Grande, another cancer survivor, attended the Oct. 24 fundraising event at Main Street Trattoria benefiting the V Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. More than 75 people attended.

"It's always great sharing time, great food and drinks with people from our area that have a heart of gold and a willingness to extend themselves helping kids battling cancer," Vitale said.

The event netted $16,000 for the foundation.
