The Longboat Key Club's 6.5 combo team headed to sectionals this past weekend.

After acing the district tournament and winning first place, the 6.5 combo tennis team at the Longboat Key Club competed in USTA Sectionals over the weekend in Daytona Beach. This was the team’s third year going to sectionals. Team member Mary Lou Johnson said in an email they won some and lost some at sectionals, but were just happy to be there. They’re going to try again next year.
