1 — Lakewood Ranch High junior boys golfer Drew Angelo took third-place at the Honda Classic High School Invitational on Oct. 13 at PGA National in West Palm Beach, shooting a one-over-par 145 over two days.

2 — Lakewood Ranch High senior boys cross country runner Johnny Reid won the Tri-County meet (17:12.51) on Oct. 12 in Venice.

3 —Braden River High senior wide receiver Craivon Koonce caught two touchdown passes in the Pirates’ 41-14 win against Sarasota High on Oct. 13.

4 — Lakewood Ranch High senior girls cross country runner Shay Lee finished third (22:03.95) at the Tri-County meet on Oct. 12 in Venice.

5 — The Out-of-Door Academy senior quarterback Gus Mahler threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the Thunder’s 38-7 win against Kennedy Catholic (N.Y.) on Oct. 13.
