Sarasota football roundup: 10.20.17

Booker High beat Lemon Bay High 26-21. Johnathan Presha and Anthony Thomas had interceptions for the Tornadoes in the win. Quarterback Jermaine Ziegler hit University of South Florida verbal commit Talik Keaton for three scores, and Jacquez Jones added 122 yards on the ground. 

Sarasota High lost 42-7 to Venice High. Sophomore quarterback Vincent Parisi found senior David Steber for a 10-yard touchdown in the loss. Sophomore running back Brian Battie had 82 yards on the ground. 

Cardinal Mooney High fell 42-28 to Winter Haven High. Senior running back Bryce Williams had 137 yards and a touchdown in the loss. 

Riverview High was off this week.
