East County High 5 Moments: 10.26.17

1 — Braden River High junior quarterback Bryan Gagg completed 15-of-17 passes for 362 yards and four touchdowns in the Pirates’ 55-7 win against Lakewood Ranch High on Oct. 21.

2 — Lakewood Ranch freshman girls golfer Ashleigh Angelo shot a 74 to lead the Mustangs to a district championship win on Oct. 16 at Palm Aire Country Club.  

3 — The Out-of-Door Academy junior volleyball player Adelaide Mahler had 25 kills and six blocks in the Thunder’s five-set district championship win (22-25, 25-16, 25-21, 22-25, 15-7) against Bradenton Christian on Oct. 19.

4 — Braden River High junior fullback Zac Smith verbally committed to the University of Miami on Oct. 21.

5 — John Barkovich sank a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of the Lakes Course at Palm Aire Country Club on Oct. 19. Barkovich used a 6-hybrid on the 153-yard hole.
