Jacob and Sophie Pollack celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary by watching their granddaughter get married.

On Aug. 3, Longboat Key residents Jacob and Sophie Pollack celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. It was decided the entire family would celebrate over Columbus Day weekend. To make the weekend even more special, the Pollacks’ granddaughter, Ariane Pollack, married Jeff Spross on Oct. 8 at Zota Beach Resort. Rabbi Stephen Sniderman of Temple Beth Israel officiated the ceremony.
