In addition to All Faiths Food Bank’s normally scheduled mobile pantry distribution centers, six additional emergency food and water distribution sites have been set up in Sarasota County today and Friday.

Locally, that includes emergency food and water distribution sites in Sarasota at Lee Wetherington Boys & Girls Club at 3100 Fruitville Rd. and Roy McBean Boys & Girls Club at 1790 21st St. Both sites are open between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and will have ready-to-eat meals, snacks and water.

In a release, the organization said 16 tractor trailers are expected at All Faiths Food Bank today from Feeding America, packed with enough canned goods to create more than 22,000 disaster relief food boxes for local and regional communities.
