McKinley Drive home sells for $1,475,000

A home in John Ringling Estates tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. James and Susan Davis, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 435 McKinley Drive to Kimberly McDaniel and Jennifer Riefle, of Sarasota, for $1,475,000. Built in 1955, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,712 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.05 million in 2009.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Lee and Terry Dubin, of Charlotte, N.C., sold their Unit 403 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Aurelia Hamel, of Annapolis, Md., for $1,425,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 3,045 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,385,000 in 2012.

Country Club Shores

Steven and Julie Groff, of Dallastown, Pa., sold their home at 521 Bowsprit Lane to Micheline Martin and Marisa D’Emilio, of Quebec, Canada, for $1,075,000. Built in 1966, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,302 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.1 million in 2010.

Winding Oaks

Jean Martin, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 7 condominium at 3413 Winding Oaks Drive to Ryan Martin and Maureen Russell-Martin, of Butler, Pa., for $950,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,555 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $407,000 in 1988.

Mary Groh, trustee, of Cincinnati, sold the Unit 406C condominium at 1211 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Vincent and Mary Ellen Bonica, of Washington Crossing, Pa., for $650,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,598 square feet of living area. 

Cedars West

Angel and Mireya Hernandez and Carmen Boone, trustees, sold the Unit 107 condominium at 5655 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Thomas Hodgson, of Longwood, for $510,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,274 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $170,000 in 1991. 

Lido Surf and Sand

Gary Leppla, trustee, of Dayton, Ohio, sold the Unit 610 condominium at 1102 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Greg and Sheila Masterson, of Geneva, Ill., for $500,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,516 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $190,000 in 1990.

Longbeach Village

John Himmelspach and John Himmelspach Jr., trustees, of Greenbush, Mich., sold the Unit 21 condominium at 7065 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Joanne Rea, of Lexington, Ky., for $439,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $115,000 in 1979.

Seaplace

Gabriel and Stephanie Najarian, of Aldie, Va., sold their Unit M2-414-C condominium at 1945 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peggy Calhoun, of Ft. Lauderdale, for $395,000. Built in 1978, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $386,000 in 2004.

Forrest McSurdy and John Martin Jr. sold their Unit G4-302-E condominium at 1975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Deborah Deal, of Bolivar, Ohio, for $350,000. Built in 1977, it has one bedroom, one-and-a-half baths and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $375,000 in 2014.

J. David and Linda Green, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 22 condominium at 830 Evergreen Way to Peter and Monica DaRold, of Bradenton, for $390,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $370,000 in 2009.

Embassy Villa

Vicki Ogden, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 16 condominium at 800 S. Blvd. of the Presidents to Andrew and Linda Chapman, of Arnold, Md., for $360,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,090 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2011.
