FASHION STATEMENT
5000 block of Misty Canal Place, Bradenton
Battery: A man and his roommate became involved in a verbal argument because one man was wearing the other man's shirt. The first man shoved the man wearing his shirt and the second man called deputies. The second man did not wish to press charges and both agreed to stay away from each other. The man who was pushed signed a waiver of prosecution.

DOGGED IN OWN HOME
7600 Eagle Creek Drive, Sarasota
Information only: A man called the Sheriff's Office because a woman came to his door, knocking repeatedly while threatening to kick his butt. The man said she was angry because he had a dog in his house and dogs aren't permitted in the neighborhood. The man said he felt threatened so he called the Sheriff's Office. He was advised to call back if the situation escalates. He said he wanted the incident documented.

SOMEBODY HAD GAS TO EVACUATE
12000 block of 30th Street Circle East, Parrish
Theft: A man called the Sheriff's Office because he had filled up his vehicle with gas due to approaching Hurricane Irma, and the next morning had just a quarter of a tank of gas. His vehicle had been parked in his driveway. He believes someone siphoned the gas from his tank. A neighbor has a security camera that partly covers the man's driveway so deputies had scheduled to look at that tape. His tank held 30 gallons.

BUT THEY LOOK GOOD
2900 block of 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton
Theft: Two women were seen in the cosmetics area of a department store concealing items on them. A security officer observed them. After a break, they began taking more items. Eventually, the women made their way to the front of the store and passed all points of sale without paying. They were stopped by security. All items were returned to the store. The theft was captured by surveillance video.
