Anna S. Kapstad
Anna Kapstad, 85, of Longboat Key, died Sept. 13, 2017.
Mrs. Kapstad was born and raised in Aalesund, Norway, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1970.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odd Bjorn Kapstad.
She is survived by three sons, Jan, Bjorn and Tore Kapstad; their wives; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister Dora Hagen.
Funeral services will be held privately.

Alice Taich
Alice Taich, 89, formerly of Longboat Key and
Northbrook, Ill., died Sept. 11.
She was born on July 30, 1928, in Chicago to Jacob Brodsky and Cecelia Klink.
Mrs. Taich is remembered for her lifelong dedication to volunteer work as an honorary lifetime board member of the Jewish Family and Children Services of the Suncoast, officer at Temple Beth Israel on Longboat Key, member of the national board of Women of Reform of Judaism, officer of Congregation Beth Or in Deerfield, Ill., president of ORT in Northbrook, a Brownie troop leader, PTA officer and more.
Mrs. Taich was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 64 years, Fred.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Woods, Arthur Taich, Sue Goldsand and Tim Taich; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her sister, Sylvia Kleker.
