Picasso Drive home sells for $1,465,000

A home in Sorrento South tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Stephen Roach III, of Oakland, Mich., sold his home at 451 Picasso Drive to Edward and Marilynn Bielen, of Nokomis, for $1,465,000. Built in 2001, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,733 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.2 million in 2014.

San Remo Estates

Carl Hurst and Brita Otteson-Hurst, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1419 Tangier Way to Albert and Leslie Jeffrey, of Sarasota, for $1,425,000. Built in 1957, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,864 square feet of living area. 

Granada

Emory Brooks, of New York City, sold two properties at 3630 Camino Real to Scott Switzer and Ashley Tayloe-Switzer, of Sarasota, for $700,000. The first property was built in 1926, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,213 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1925, it has one bath and 348 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $712,500 in 2009.

Elizabeth Doyle, of Sarasota, sold her home at 1574 Landings Terrace to Terrance Doyle, trustee, of Sarasota, for $700,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,317 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 1981.

Karen Turley and Carol Cohen, trustees, of Brattleboro, Vt., sold the Unit 1102 condominium at 770 S. Palm Ave. to Lisa Tichenor, of Sarasota, for $520,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,284 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2015.

Brian Mariash, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 605 condominium at 1771 Ringling Blvd. to Mauricio Cueva-Eguiguren, Paulina Cueva-Eguiguren and Maria Del Carmen Cueva, of Riverside, Conn., for $495,000. James and Carol Noah, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 1412 condominium at 800 N. Tamiami Trail to Brian Thomsitt, of Sarasota, for $435,000. Built in 2007, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,323 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $549,000 in 2007.

APG Homes LLC sold two properties at 1732 and 1736 Ninth St. to Ulla Julius, of Sarasota, for $420,000. The property at 1732 was built in 2016, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,675 square feet of living area. The property at 1736 was built in 2016, it has one bedroom, one bath and 583 square feet of living area.
