How long have you been playing golf?

My father (Scott Jarrett) and uncle (Anthony Torres) got me a 7-iron when I was 3. I just played around with it. I played my first tournament when I was 6 years old. I played all the sports: Football, soccer and such. I really picked up the game of golf when I was 10, I would say. That's when I started playing consistently.

What is the appeal of golf to you now?

Right now, it's coming out and enjoying the nature of it, as well as, during the high school season, spending time with friends and most importantly getting better at the game every single day.

What is your favorite golf memory?

My freshman year, when I played in the Florida State Golf Association's Junior Team Championship. It was me and two other players. We ended up winning the Boys 13-15 division (shooting a combined two-day total of 306).

What is your favorite food?

I have to go with steak, cooked medium.

What hobbies do you have?

I definitely enjoy cooking. I cook dinner for my family maybe two-three times a week.

What is your favorite subject in school?

I'm a math guy. I've just always been good at it.

Do you have a dream vacation?

Probably go to Europe and do a tour of a few different countries.

What is your favorite TV show?

I don't watch too much TV. I do watch sports, mostly golf and football.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

Don't give up. If you sign up for something, finish it. That shapes you into a well-rounded person, and you'll gain respect from a lot of people.

Finish this sentence: "Kyle Jarrett is ... "

... someone who will put forth his best effort, a positive attitude, and his utmost commitment in whatever he signs up to do.
