Casey Key home sells for $6.55 million

A home on Casey Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Daniel and Shannon Connors, of Nokomis, sold their home at 1808 Casey Key Road to Edward Chant and Steven Noxon, trustees, of Ontario, Canada, for $6.55 million. Built in 2006, it has five bedrooms, five-and-two-half baths, a pool and 5,219 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4,275,000 in 2010.

Henry and Michelle Lee, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2150 Montclair Drive to David Brown, trustee, of Miamisburg, Ohio, for $960,000. Built in 1973, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,733 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 2002.

Bay Plaza

Dale and Barbara Kowalyk sold their Unit 302 condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to David and Jennifer Rizzo, of Sarasota, for $940,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,042 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2013.

Swift Road

Swift Road LLLP sold two properties at 4704 Swift Road and 2780 Swift Road to Garden Investment Group Inc. for $600,000. The property at 4704 was built in 1952, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 876 square feet of living area. The property at 2780 was built in 1983, it has eight bedrooms, four baths and 2,998 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $268,000 in 2012.

Pomelo Place

Diane Gilligan, trustee, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 1778 Bahia Vista St. to Mark Caragiulo, of Sarasota, for $599,000. The first property was built in 1926, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 951 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1926, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,196 square feet of living area. They previously sold for $318,000 in 2011.

Wolfgang and Ute Maul, of Offenbach, Germany, sold their home at 8207 Varenna Drive to Michael and Christine Pflieger, of Vernon Hills, Ill., for $475,000. Built in 2015, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,886 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $436,900 in 2015.
