1 — Lakewood Ranch High baseball senior Pablo Garabitos threw five shutout innings with 10 strikeouts and had four hits April 17 in the Mustangs’ 11-0 win against host Tampa Catholic.

2 — Former Lakewood Ranch High golfer Danny Walker, a senior at the University of Virginia, finished third at the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golf Championship April 22 at Old North State Club in New London, N.C., shooting 13 under par.

3 — Craig DelFabro was named the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club Men’s Golf Association Player of the Year on April 21.

4 — The Out-of-Door Academy baseball senior Hunter Bogumil allowed one hit and struck out five in 5 1/3 innings April 20 in the Thunder’s 2-0 win against visiting Bradenton Christian.

5 — The Out-of-Door Academy boys tennis team won the Class 1A District 9 championship on April 17.
