Furthering his education

A tip of the cap (in this case, a graduation cap) is in order for town Code Enforcement Officer Chris Elbon, who recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration.

Elbon, who also received a certificate in crime-scene investigation, was awarded his diploma June 30 from Columbia College.

As part of the ceremony, he was honored by the Alpha Sigma Lamba Honor Society and the Salute Veterans Honor Society.
