The Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Transportation this morning closed State Road 70, just east of Betts Road, because of a small sinkhole in the roadway.

The hole is about two feet in diameter in the eastbound lane, an FHP report states.

FDOT is sending out a crew to assess the hole today. Traffic has been diverted around the area by using Singletary Road to Betts Road.
