Longboater nails lumber award

The 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Retail Lumber Dealers Association, recently awarded to Longboat resident John Brill, came as a total surprise to him, his granddaughter Vickie said. 

Brill worked in the lumber industry for 23 years. 

“It was truly an honor to witness how many people respected, adored, and appreciated his leadership,” Vickie said. 

"Your leadership style and keen sense of humor were so key in taking us to the next level," part of the award inscription reads.
