Wearing the proper jewelry can quickly and easily punch up your style, which is why it’s always important to have the right earrings for the right occasion. Some can accentuate a color scheme, some can give off a breezy vibe, and others can make a downright statement.
We’ve asked several Lakewood Ranch area boutiques and shops for their recommendations on which earrings are in right now and which are a fashion staple for any season.

Bows & Arrows Boutique owner Chelsea Sluicer has a number of different earrings to match a number of different settings. Some tasseled earrings are for more relaxed settings while there are other dressier pieces of jewelry for when people are going for a night out.
“The [beaded earrings] have been popular before fall,” Sluicer said. “They’re fun because they come in multiple colors, are super lightweight and are just different with the beaded shape that can transition for different seasons.
“The [mixed metal earrings] are great to dress up an outfit for date night and are neutral colors, so you can still wear them with every outfit.”

Knot Awl Beads has plenty of earrings, but owner Renee Towns finds the most classic picks to be the most popular.
“Pearls are classic, always in style,” Towns said. “Tassels are very popular, and geometric sterling are very stylish and seem to never [go out of style].”
Tired of heavy hardware that weighs down your lobes? Stud earrings are back en vogue and are perfect for a more minimalistic approach.

Wish On Main’s earring selection mostly belongs to the Uno De 50 brand, a particular favorite of store owner Jan Nicolson. The earrings range from silver to gold, with the classic pearls being a highlight.
“They’re very artistic; they’re all made in Spain,” Nicolson said. “[I’ve] been selling them for about four years. It’s very versatile. Some of their stuff is traditional while other pieces are more modern. They do about four releases a year and keep changing it up.”
