The Sarasota Opera Guild introduced guests to international cuisine at its first "Culinary Trip Around the World" showcase Jan. 9.
The sold-out event welcomed more than 100 guests into the Opera House to sample bites from a number of different countries. Attendees spent time mingling and listening to music in the courtyard before heading indoors to try out the many different dishes.
