Bird Key home sells for $3.5 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Erik Abrahamson, of Clearwater, sold his home at 111 N. Warbler Lane to Kevin and Karen Lucey, of Sarasota, for $3.5 million. Built in 1976, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,251 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,875,000 in 2019.

Bay Isles

John and Patricia Stitzel, of Nashville, Tennessee., sold their home at 3571 Bayou Circle to Francis Howard Jr. and Francis Howard III and Kathryn Howard, of Venetia, Pennsylvania., for $2,800,200. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,278 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.45 million in 2017.

Thomas and Margaret Baron sold their home at 3330 Bayou Sound to Michael and Katrina Spies for $995,000. Built in 1979, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,396 square feet of living area. It sold for $885,000 in 2006.

Vizcaya at Longboat Key

J. Wesley and Barbara Compton, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 1B3 condominium at 2333 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John Blake and Mary Blake, trustees, of Longboat Key, for $2.75 million. Built in 1997, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,961 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.15 million 2014.

Patricia and Edward Zunz, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 677 Lands End Drive to Shelby Oakley and Pamela Oakley, trustees, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, for $1.66 million. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 3,433 square feet of living area. It sold for $402,500 in 1995.

Anndon Holdings Inc. sold the Unit B-205 condominium at 565 Sanctuary Drive to Victor Keen and Jeanne Ruddy, of Philadelphia, for $1.65 million. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,580 square feet of living area. It sold for $415,000 in 1990.

Judy Gail Tobias, trustee, sold the Unit B-402 condominium at 585 Sanctuary Drive to Fifth Third Bank, trustee, for $1.3 million. Built in 1990, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,823 square feet of living area. It sold for $952,500 in 2015.

Queens Harbour

Thomas and Sally Sappenfield, of Orland Park, Illinois., sold their home at 3527 Fair Oaks Lane to Joseph Contorno and Elaine Linker, of Longboat Key, for $1,399,000. Built in 1994, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,154 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,225,000 in 2013.

MRP Properties Sarasota LLC sold the home at 600 Wild Turkey Lane to Diane Suner, of Sarasota, for $965,000. Built in 1971, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,044 square feet of living area. It sold for $750,000 in 2019.
