Longboat Key UPS Store gets new owner

After 15 years, there will be new faces at the local UPS Store, as owners and siblings Wendi and Neil McDonald are moving on from the place.

McDonald said there have been a lot of regular customers over the years that they've enjoyed getting to know. They became part of the community, even selling Longboat Key Turtle Watch T-shirts, which new owner Mike Rusnak said he'll continue to stock. 

Rusnak, who just moved here from Texas, is originally from Florida and said it feels good to be home. He's been in the area about a month but spent his first day in the store on Aug. 16, and is looking forward to getting to know residents and his fellow business owners in the Centre Shops.
