HERBERT G. BRUCH (Age 88)  Born October 17, 1932, departed this life on December 5, 2020. He left behind his loving wife of 50 years, Joanne, and children Bill, Dan, Jim, Julia and Rich, along with seven grandchildren.

Herb, a holocaust survivor, was born in Kempen, Germany and raised by his aunt, Dr. Hilde “Oma” Bruch, in New York City starting at age 13.

Herb, a holocaust survivor, was born in Kempen, Germany and raised by his aunt, Dr. Hilde “Oma” Bruch, in New York City starting at age 13. After graduating from Swarthmore College in 1954, “Gramps” spent his professional career at Unisys in suburban Philadelphia as a computer programmer.  An exceptional and passionate bridge player, Herb’s other favorite hobbies were listening to classical music, tinkering with personal computers, watching professional golf, and following his Philadelphia and New York professional sports teams.  On this one-year anniversary of his passing, Herb lives on through cherished memories of family and friends alike.
