Bird Key home sells for $5.7 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Elita Krums Kane, of Sarasota, sold the home at 614 S. Owl Drive to Christopher Connor, trustee, of Hunting Valley, Ohio, for $5.7 million. Built in 1965, it has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 6,870 square feet of living area. It sold for $4 million in 2000.

Tencon Beach

GMD LLC sold the Unit 202 condominium at 1511 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Edward Michael and Rachel Hayman, of Evanston, Illinois, for $2.9 million. Built in 1978, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,940 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.1 million in 2020.

The Water Club at Longboat Key

Scott and Rosemarie Salick, trustees, of Delafield, Wisconsin, sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Anthony Bottalla, trustee, of Chicago, for $2,399,000. Built in 1996, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,172 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.5 million in 2018.

Country Club Shores

Josef and Helen Visinski sold their home at 572 Yawl Lane to Marissa Corney, of Longboat Key, for $2.3 million. Built in 1963, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,650 square feet of living area. It sold for $559,400 in 2017.

Alligator 42 LLC sold the home at 561 Halyard Lane to Thomas McCollum and Kaltrina Mavraj, of St. Johns, for $1.34 million. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,997 square feet of living area. It sold for $960,000 in 2004.

Joseph William Plaster Jr. and Donna Fulcher Plaster, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 306 condominium at 1055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Kenneth Emerson Stanley and Ann Marie Stanley, for Lima, Ohio, for $2.19 million. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,819 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.2 million in 2018.

Islander Club of Longboat

Lucia Dacosta Pessoa Park and Jeffrey Park, trustees, sold the Units 115N and 116N condominiums at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jayne Cook, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $2 million. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,470 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.15 million in 2013.

Stephen and Maria Lazar, of Hockessin Delaware, sold their Unit 82-N condominium at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Vladimir and Ida Fiks, of Portland, Oregon, for $1.01 million. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,235 square feet of living area. It sold for $255,000 in 1997.

Mark Nowak, trustee, sold the home at 534 Bird Key Drive to Richard Ollis Galberaith and Barbarajean Galberaith, trustees, of Sarasota, for $1.8 million. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,793 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,262,500 in 2017.
