Hail to the chief

The Rotary Club of Longboat Key is looking "Fuller" for 2021. On June 22, the club welcomed its new president Bo Fuller, who will take over leadership duties from Brad Marner. The ceremonious passing of the gavel took place at Cafe L'Europe, where members gathered for a meal together for the first time in months. 

Several Rotary members were recognized during the meeting for their "do goodery" throughout the year. Terri Driver was named Rookie of the Year for her willingness to run the club's Zoom meetings throughout 2020, Janet Shapiro earned honors for Excellence in Club Administration for her commitment to keeping the club on track, Joan Sherry was named Rotarian in Action and Jack and Nancy Rozance were named Rotarians of the Year.
