Happy 104th, Reggie!

At Regina (Reggie) Gurland's age — 104 — the amount of candles necessary to represent all her years probably wouldn't fit on a birthday cake. So when Gurland was celebrated by her neighbors and family on June 23, they spelled it out in strawberries instead. 

Gurland's enduring era has caught the attention of others. In 2018, there were two articles written about her active lifestyle on the Mayo Clinic's website and for a local paper in Chestnut Hill, Pa. when she was just 101.

She's lived in Sleepy Lagoon since 1976 and has been a ceramic artist for many years.
