Mondays are better spent with friends, and the Beth Israel Women set out to beat the Monday blues with their first luncheon of the season. Members gathered for a homemade lunch on Nov. 15.
Sylvia Pastor, who cooked most of the luncheon, stood to thank attendees for coming and emphasize the importance of friendship before everyone sat down to their tables. As lunch went on, a microphone was passed around so attendees could share who they are and what they've been up to since the pandemic began.
Ronetta Krause of Silver Moon Studio set up a trunk show at the luncheon and several attendees shopped around before and after lunch, including Rabbi Stephen Sniderman, who got help from several ladies at the lunch. Krause's creations will also be on consignment in the BIW gift shop.
