Top residential real estate sales for Dec. 1-4 in Longboat, Lido, St. Armands, Bird Key

A home in Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Douglas and Teresa Franklin, of Sylva, South Carolina, sold their home at 683 Mourning Dove Drive to Jerald and Kathleen Kamiel, of Sarasota, for $11.5 million. Built in 1996, it has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,748 square feet of living area. It sold for $4.34 million in 2016.

Bird Key

Thomas and Susannah Pinzino, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the home at 464 Meadow Lark Drive to Anthony and Nadia Rendina, of Chicago, for $3,671,500. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,437 square feet of living area.

Longbeach

Ross and Valerie Schneiderman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 6909 Longboat Drive S. to James Fox, of S. Kingstown, Rhode Island, for $2,615,000. Built in 1935, it has two bedrooms, one bath, a pool and 1,619 square feet of living area. It sold for $620,000 in 2016.

Matthew Valvano, Frank Valvano and Muriel Valvano, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 401 condominium at 1065 Gulf of Mexico Drive to EREJ Ltd. for $900,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It sold for $245,000 in 1997. Vincent Quiros and Joanne McNally sold their Unit 101 condominium at 1125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to J. Christopher and Amy Thompson, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, for $899,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area. It sold for $604,000 in 2014.
