SPD investigates downtown weekend shooting

Sarasota Police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that appears to be an isolated incident. The shooting occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Central Avenue in downtown Sarasota. One victim, who suffered minor injury, has been identified. 

The victim is not cooperating with detectives, and investigators are asking the public for help in identifying suspects, witnesses or any additional possible victims.
