Street closures announced for Memorial Day Parade

The Sarasota Police Department announced street closures and other traffic warnings in advance of the annual Memorial Day Parade, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Monday, May 29, starting at Main Street and Osprey Avenue. 

Tow-away zones and street closures from 9 a.m. to noon include:

  • Gulfstream Avenue closed from Cocoanut Avenue to McAnsh Square.
  • Main Street closed from U.S. 301 to Gulfstream Avenue.
  • Links Avenue closed from First Street to Ringling Boulevard.
  • Osprey Avenue closed from Second Street to Ringling Boulevard.
