A condominium in Positano tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. George Eastment III and Christine Eastment, trustees, of Warrenton, Virginia, sold the Unit 502 condominium at 4995 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Karen and Anthony DeRose, of Deerfield, Illinois for $5.5 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,344 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.85 million in 2010.
Douglas Durand and Elizabeth Durand, trustees, of Palm Harbor, sold the Unit A1002 condominium at 2050 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Christine Ottoson, of Sarasota, for $3.9 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,242 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.25 million in 2006.
Philip Goldman, Scott Goldman and Raina Kotch, of Holland, Pennsylvania, sold their home at 781 Hideaway Bay Drive to Ryan Noto, of Longboat Key, for $3.5 million. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 5,469 square feet of living area. It sold for $170,100 in 1995.
