Stephanie Trudeau performs a one-woman docu-cabaret about iconic lesbian ranchera singer Chavela Vargas, who had a resurgence in her seventies and continued to perform until she was 94. Trudeau's performance won kudos at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in both 2022 and 2023.

Nicholas McGegan conducts Richard Strauss’ Serenade, featuring 13 of Sarasota Orchestra’s wind and horn players. The string instruments grab the spotlight in Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro, composed in 1905 to show off the London Symphony Orchestra. The two groups are joined by trombones and timpani to perform Haydn’s Symphony 104, his last.
