If only the '90s were this much fun. In an homage them three decades later, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation hosted its annual Rock the Roof fundraiser Oct. 21 on the top of the hospital's west parking garage.
Attendees of the '90s-themed dance party didn't disappoint, and brought their best outfits of lively fabrics, flannel and rock T's and even inflatable cell phones and boomboxes.
The roof was set up with food and beverage stations, photo booths, face painting, lounge areas and, of course, the Rock the Roof stage, where the band played everyone's favorite hits from the '90s and beyond throughout the night.
Proceeds from the event will go to purchase Giraffe incubators for the hospital to help care for babies born premature. To complete the theme, inflatable giraffes at the event helped spread the word.
