A home on Casey Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Frank and Martha Forward sold their home at 2006 Casey Key Road to Jeffrey King, of Monaco, for $5.6 million. Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,810 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.8 million in 2006. 


 

Sarasota

The Tower Residences

Maribeth Heffron, Kevin Harbour and Timothy Heffron, trustees, of Cedar, Michigan, sold the Unit 805 condominium at 35 Watergate Drive to Steven and Cheryl Schwarzwaelder, of Sarasota, for $3,575,000. Built in 2003, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 3,659 square feet of living area. It sold for $2,515,000 in 2017.


Quail Drive

Douglas and Amey Smith, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1509 Quail Drive to Kenneth Wayne Blume and Jessica Landrus Blume, of Sarasota, for $3,425,000. Built in 2020, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,264 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.1 million in 2021.


Lake Club

Cecile Lee Upshaw and Sheila Ann Upshaw, of Franklin, Tennessee, sold their home at 1706 Spring Creek Drive to Kathleen Rudolph, trustee, of Sarasota, for $2,925,000. Built in 2017, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,446 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,575,000 in 2020.

Richard and Louann Kitchell, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1822 Loma Linda St.to Robert and Ellen Beth Knapp, of Sarasota, for $2,285,000. Built in 2018, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,551 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.45 million in 2020.

Richard and Barbara Bailey, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 33 condominium at 340 S. Palm Ave. to David and Carol McClenahan, of Sarasota, for $2.24 million. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,437 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,125,000 in 2010.

Hollandia Property Group LLC sold the Unit 812 condominium at 111 S. Pineapple Ave. to Victoria Phillips, of Sarasota, for $1.77 million. Built in 2019, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,559 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.25 million in 2021.

Afzal Tarar and Maria Celada, of Miami, sold their Unit 920 condominium at 111 S. Pineapple Ave. to Young Ho Chang and Jung-Yeon Sandy Chang, of Vienna, Virginia, for $1,595,000. Built in 2019, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,498 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.3 million in 2022.

Stephen Front and Ann Mitchell Front, of Sarasota, sold their home at 4975 Peregrine Point Way to Philip and Kathleen Kercher, of Sarasota, for $1.65 million. Built in 1981, it has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,768 square feet of living area. It sold for $312,000 in 1994.

Patricia Austin, trustee, sold the Unit 22 condominium at 557 S. Palm Ave. to Howard and Sherry Davis, of Sarasota, for $1.55 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,052 square feet of living area. It sold for $1 million in 2016.

David Alan Daffner and Christopher Landon Daffner, trustees, of Westminster, South Carolina, sold the Unit 608 condominium at 888 Blvd. of the Arts to Leslie Gray, of Ft. Worth, Texas, for $1,041,400. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,642 square feet of living area. It sold for $217,000 in 1997.

Barbara Johnson, trustee, and Richard Johnson, of Sarasota, sold the home at 1800 Webber St. to M&J Pham Development LLC for $1.15 million. Built in 1954, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,406 square feet of living area.

Lee Newhart, of Sarasota, sold her home at 2835 Bougainvillea St. to Jesse Osborne and Christina Coon, of Sarasota, for $640,000. Built in 1959, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,435 square feet of living area.

Susan Horrigan, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 503 condominium at 5591 Cannes Circle to Michael Richard O’Keefe, of Sarasota, for $625,000. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,706 square feet of living area. It sold for $399,000 in 2016.

Teresa Ann Esper, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 4519 Olive Ave. to Dong Hun Nguyen and Phuong Lan-Thi Pham, of Dearborn, Michigan, for $612,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,872 square feet of living area. It sold for $278,100 in 2016.

Joseph and Maranda Kles, of Sarasota, sold their home at 3229 Bougainvillea St. to Marion Almy, of Sarasota, for $500,000. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,426 square feet of living area. It sold for $265,000 in 2019.

6148 Midnight Pass LLC sold the Unit 1-S condominium at 6148 Midnight Pass Road to Dennis and Natalie Hartunian, of Scottsdale, Arizona, for $1,825,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,376 square feet of living area. It sold for $203,500 in 1987.


Siesta Manor

Marianne Thomas, trustee, of Paul Thomas, sold the home at 335 Avenida Milano to Roderick Leyden and Jacqueline Leyden, trustees, of Nashotah, Wisconsin, for $1.8 million. Built in 1960, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,900 square feet of living area. It sold for $835,000 in 2017.


Sarasota Beach

FLRWT LLC sold the home at 459 Avenida De Mayo to Eugene and Colleen Schlenk, of Sarasota, for $1,725,000. Built in 1996, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,805 square feet of living area. It sold for $899,000 in 2018.

Margaret Raab, of Sarasota, sold two properties at 357 Island Circle to Jeffrey an Jamie Hanretty, of Utica, New York, for $1.3 million. The first property was built in 1972 and has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,300 square feet of living area. The second property was built in 1993 and has one bedroom, one bath and 384 square feet of living area.

Robert Elliot, trustee, of Bradenton, sold the Unit 507 condominium at 6300 Midnight Pass Road to Ashley Miranda McCurdy and Steven John McCurdy, of Columbus, Ohio, for $1.35 million. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,271 square feet of living area. It sold for $195,000 in 1991.
