Tropical Storm Debby passed Sarasota and made landfall early Monday morning as a Category 1 storm near Steinhatchee in Florida's Big Bend region before being downgraded back to a tropical storm.

Sarasota has seen impacts of high winds, rains and flooding. Roads in Sarasota and Manatee counties have seen flooding and closures.
