When did you start playing basketball and why?
I was around 5 years old. I can’t remember why. What I do remember is that when I was in fifth grade, I started playing for (Booker High assistant) coach Daniels with the Booker Middle boys team and that improved my game a lot.
What’s the appeal?

My vision. I can see a lot of stuff that other people can’t see.
Is there a player that you model your game after?
Flau’Jae Johnson from LSU.
What are you working on to improve?
My confidence. I’m trying to shoot more and not be as passive, because there are a lot of times where I pass up an open look and it results in a missed shot or a turnover.
What’s your favorite basketball memory?
Beating Sarasota Middle to win the middle school basketball championships in eighth grade.
What went right for your team this season?

Government. It helps me learn about what’s going on in the real world.

To just be myself and to not be afraid to shine.
