Barancik Foundation reelects two board members, names officers

Two members have been named to the board of directors of the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation. Stephanie Jones and Ben Hanan have each been named to serve three-year terms.

Jones, a corporate recruiting and human resources executive at global professional services firm Kroll, was reelected to a second term. She is also a trustee of the Hermitage Artist Retreat in Englewood. She began her first three-year term on the board in 2021.

Hanan is a partner at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, where he practices business and estate planning. He is also a certified public accountant. In addition to the Barancik Foundation board, he has served on boards of All Faiths Food Bank, Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County, Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp. and Gulf Coast Community Foundation. This will be his first full term on the Barancik Foundation Board.

The Barancik Foundation elected as corporate officers Rebecca Barancik, chair; Hosana Fieber, vice chair; Teri Hansen, president; Ev Bosque, treasurer; and Jessica Polk, secretary. They will each serve one-year terms in those capacities.
