Local fashion brands highlight Bird Key Yacht Club fashion show

The Bird Key Yacht Club ended 2023 with a stylish party. 

The club’s annual fashion show held Dec. 12 at the club, drew more than 70 members to watch their fellow members model seasonal fashions.

The night had a special, local flavor because the show featured styles from local clothiers, Camilyn Beth for the female models and Tweeds for the male models.

Camilyn Beth’s collection featured classic designs with a retro-modern twist. The designs are made using American craftsmanship. Located at 75 South Palm Ave., the retailer focuses on sustainable fashion.

Founded in 2019 by Donald Carlson, Tweeds offers a custom suit-buying experience and has a storefront in downtown Sarasota, at 1423 First St. Every garment is custom-made to fit.

At the fashion show, Bird Key members showed off Tweeds’ jackets, shirts and jeans. The women modeled gowns and dresses for all occasions.
