Kudos to the Observer for a commitment to environmental reporting

This letter is long overdue, but I think it’s important to acknowledge the commitment of the Observer Media Group to providing coverage of environmental organizations and their efforts to protect our local environment.

Since the 1980s the Observer’s reporting has contributed to important initiatives like the Sister Keys Conservancy, Sarasota Bay Watch, Suncoast Waterkeeper, the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program and so much more by getting the information out to a wider audience.  

The Observer Media Group understands the importance of protecting the engine that drives our economy and makes the lives of those blessed to live on the Suncoast so rich.
