Photo by Lori SaxDuring the Sarasota Orchestra's Masterworks Dinner series, attendees are offered musicians' perspectives on the upcoming concert. At its Jan. 23 dinner, Guest Conductor Giancarlo Guerrero shared his expertise on everything from how arts organizations are bouncing back from COVID to why recording new music is such a passion of his.
The dinner, held at Michael's On East, began with a performance by the Sarasota Orchestra Wind Quintet. Afterwards, Guerrero was interviewed by Phillip Gainsley, and the two discussed the "Titans" Masterworks concert coming up that weekend before guests enjoyed dinner with their tablemates.
