One injured in Monday afternoon shooting on 23rd Street

The Sarasota Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near the 1800 block of 23rd Street shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday.

One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The incident is believed to be isolated.
